Nordic Table Workshop — Swedish Meatballs
No single dish is more evocative of Swedish jul than the humble meatball. How did the meatball become the icon of Swedish dining? Join us for an evening of Swedish meatballs with all of the important accompaniments. The menu includes Swedish meatballs done at least two ways (traditional and modern), quick pickled cucumbers, potatoes, brown sauce and lingonberries.
Patrice Johnson is a Nordic Food Geek and meatball historian who loves to give old Scandinavian recipes a modern spin. She is a food and culture writer, cooking class teacher, and lutfisk visionary.
Held in Paulson Hall Kitchen; participation with some demonstration
ASI members $45 / non-members $55.
