Klippdockor: Paper Doll Making Workshop:
This hands-on paper doll workshop is inspired by Swedish immigrant folk traditions. In the 1800s, immigrant families in Minnesota created “klippdockor” (cut-out dolls) from wallpaper scraps, magazines, and reused household materials. Today, participants learn about the history of these handmade toys while designing and decorating their own paper dolls, complete with clothing and accessories. Take home two dolls, outfits, and ideas to continue creating at home.
