Sustainable Urban Development
The third program of the Nordic Innovation Series will explore sustainable urban development in Sweden and Washington State with an emphasis on mass timber construction.
Panelists will speak on measures undertaken by their organizations—a government-sponsored research agency, a Stockholm-based real estate developer, a Seattle-based architecture firm, and a land conservation organization—to explore new timber technologies, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote environmentally-friendly practices in the building sector.
