Virtual Nordic Talks: Finding Solutions to Food Waste. The National Nordic Museum will host a series of Nordic Talks, sponsored by the Nordic Council of Ministers, focused on the theme of food security and sustainability. During these talks, leading innovators and advocates for sustainable food practices and conservation will discuss solutions to contemporary issues in the areas of fine dining, food processing and packaging, and agriculture. The Museum has invited leaders from the Nordic region and the State of Washington to participate in this series of talks which will increase awareness and inspire positive actions for a more secure and sustainable world.

This series of talks consists of thematic panels led by industry leaders from the Nordic region and the United States, and discusses clever solutions to timely problems in the areas of fine dining, food processing and packaging, and agriculture. The talks in this series will be conducted virtually.

Panel Four: Finding Solutions to Food Waste

In the last panel in our Nordic Talks series, panelists from Washington state and the Nordic countries will discuss ways in which the issue of food waste can be tackled and inspire the audience to act independently to limit food waste. The Nordic Talks is hosted by the National Nordic Museum and supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
