In collaboration with the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study, the Sustaining Scandinavian Folk Arts in the Upper Midwest project is excited to host an online concert featuring Sara Pajunen on May 14, at 2 p.m. Central Time.
Sara Pajunen is a violinist, composer and visual artist. Born and based in Northern Minnesota (USA), Pajunen's work is motivated by the interaction between a deep connection to her ancestral roots and her experience of current American culture. She has released six albums using folk and traditional music as the basis for singular collaborations.
The concert will take place over Zoom. Registration is free but needed to receive a Zoom link via email one week prior to the event.
