Swedish American Historical Society of WI, Inc. invites all to our first meeting of 2017 on Saturday, January 14th 2017 to learn the Walgreen Story. We’ll explore the Swedish background of the son of a Swedish immigrant who started the Walgreen Drug Store chain in 1901 and we’ll learn why it is called Walgreens today.
