What does it mean to dress Swedish? Who dresses Swedish and why?
The “Dressing Swedish” exhibition use clothing as a prism to explore how cultural identity has been created and expressed by different groups within Sweden. The collection of clothing and costumes includes everything from traditional regional folk costumes to modern fashion design referring to the cultural tradition of folk dress to costumes created by the descendants of Swedish immigrants in the United States.
