Dag Hammarskjöld: Peace in Mind

This exhibit commemorates Swedish diplomat Dag Hammarskjöld and highlights his achievements as United Nations Secretary General, an office he held from 1953 until his death in 1961. He is both the only UN Secretary General to die in office and the only person awarded a posthumous Nobel Peace Prize.
