Sweden Day Midsummer

The United Swedish Societies, Inc. presents the 77th annual SWEDEN DAY midsummer celebration at Manhem Beach Club in the Bronx, New York. Gates open at 11 and the main program starts at 2. It will feature traditional dancing around the maypole, allsång, kids’ activities, Swedish menu, outdoor bar and grill, large in-ground pool and so much more.

Each year we also celebrate an honoree of the year (2017 honoree is Alice Schmutz), present college scholarships and host a Miss Sweden Day contest. Entertainment will be provided by Smörgåsbandet and Barnklubben Elsa Rix #1.
