Svensk Hyllningsfest

Svensk Hyllningsfest was originally named Svensk Hyllnings Fest or Swedish honoring festival, and the festival began October 1941 — in conjunction with the 60th anniversary celebration of Bethany College. Since then for the Swedish-American aspects of Lindsborg, it has become the major, signature festival event of the community.

…Hyllningsfest is Lindsborg’s own creation, something unique in Swedish-America.
