Spring Swedish Music & Dance Weekend

Experience Swedish music, dance, and cuisine from the comfort of your own home! Folklore Village will hold the 2022 Spring Swedish Music and Dance Weekend over Zoom, March 18-20. The weekend features music and dance workshops lead by Swedish guest artists Tommy and Eva Englund and Gunnar Iggendal, and cooking workshops taught by Wisconsin chef J. Miller of RedBarn Catering. Enjoy music for dancing at the evening parties featuring folk musicians Char Bostrom, lydia ievins, Martha Levenson, and the Chicago Spelmanslag. Get a taste of all things Swedish at this online cultural experience!

Full-time admission is $60. Participant may also choose to attend only the evening parties for $10 per evening. Workshop recordings will be available to full-time participants for an additional fee.
